18h39 Paris

Making home space ours at the “Salon du Design”

On average the French spend 18 hours and 39 minutes at home every day, week-end included. Inspired by this Insee study, Castorama launches 18h39, a platform dedicated to the new design and lifestyle trends (Une belle source d’inspiration dédiée à la maison). During the Paris Design Week 2015, Hekla was asked to create the “Space 18h39” on the “Now le Off!” set.

Man has never in the past given so much importance to his interior. Hekla has therefore decided to create a warm and cozy environment for the visitor. The large seating area offer a blissful moment of relaxation while the countertop can be used for random storage or digital tablets. The height of the units and their yellow colored front create the texture of the set. The main 18h39 desk, opened to the space, invites us to share and exchange.
