Revisiting the codes of a medical laboratory, such was the mission given to Hekla by Workosteo.
From interior to furniture design, the lobby and the sampling rooms, the project rethinks the medical world.
The open space gives volume where light, coming from both directions, is brought to every corner creating a warm atmosphere. A wooden framework builds and gives rhythm to the space. The celling’s wooden beam continue onto the supporting walls and structure the lobby and waiting room. The storage, furniture and custom-made seats are coherently positioned between the threads. Inside this white and delicate space, the pale wood, blending with felt, gives a new outlook on the medical world.
