o'petit en'k Bordeaux

Giving Bordeaux’s street food an industrial style and a New-York mood

Such is the challenge of this global design project: restructuring the restaurant and creating a strong corporate identity with charisma and warmth in a small space.

Hekla succeeded in this endeavor by blending dynamic custom-made furniture with Bordeaux’s genuine stone walls.
The stones are visible through openings in the raw wood cladding in three different areas. The tables rest in these openings and offer a cozy space while maintaining a smooth customer flow.

The logo reminds us of an American University sport badge and the New-York street culture.
The space, furniture and logo reflect each other to create a coherent and homogeneous whole.
